Why it matters

A more transparent vet market
is good for everyone

The UK vet market is changing. CompareMyVet brings together clearer pricing, ownership visibility, and useful local practice information — so pet owners can make better-informed decisions, and good practices stand out on their own merits.

💷

Clearer pricing

We'll surface published price information in a consistent format — so you can compare like for like, not guess from incomplete websites.

🏢

Ownership transparency

Know whether your local vet is a family-run independent or part of a large corporate group. It's information you deserve before you choose.

📍

Better local comparison

See all the practices near you in one place — with the information that actually helps you make a decision, not just addresses and phone numbers.

Regulatory context

New UK reforms are pushing
the vet market toward transparency

Recent changes mean UK vet practices will soon be required to publish standard price lists, provide written estimates for higher-cost treatments, and clearly disclose group ownership. CompareMyVet is designed around that more transparent future — so it's genuinely useful from day one. Learn more about the CMA investigation →
